BF -Friendly way ! : Before adding formula on pediatrician's advice, definitely speak to a Lactation consultant, as there are many ways to increase weight gain without supplementing needed.
Weight gain:
20g per day up to 2 weeks. 170-330g per week up to 3 months. (Or 680-1220g per month) 500-600g per month up to 6 months. If baby is also eating food, then the weight gain won’t be the same.
Here is a good source to see what to expect: https://kellymom.com/bf/normal/weight-gain-metric/

Lactation consultant, weight curve
At daycare :
smaller amounts, 50mls Maximum
several small bags of milk instead of one big one - not ecological at all and also costly
a) freeze in ice cube trays (which you can then to into a bag or several reusable boxes
b) small jam jars and use/reuse them ( jar, 125 gr. is a great size. Half-way it's about 80 ml ) - scotched Baby's name + and a DO NOT THROW AWAY sign
c) send bottles already made up for the day and then have a few back up bags frozen in smaller quantities
hand bath or make soap out of it
good to catch milk flow from one breast while nursing.
foremilk and hindmilk - The milk that drips out in the more watery “fore milk” variety as I understand, not the fattier “hind milk”
give this collected milk exclusively for like two weeks for it to make a difference nutritionally, to our baby.

go back to work - Baby to take Boottle
